Summary The Associate Director of Person-Centered Services is responsible for operational oversight of a variety of CDS Monarch Services. These services may include, but are not limited to: select Day Habilitation Programs, Residential Homes, Community Habilitation, Vocational Programs, Evening Activities/Respite, and Family Care. The role ensures that individuals receive the highest quality services through overall management, and holds direct responsibility for the development and implementation of systems that assist with the delivery of quality services.
Essential Job Functions

Completes weekly site visits to all applicable programs under their supervision to ensure that the program environments and surroundings remain safe, attractive, comfortable, and well-maintained. Collaborates with Facilities Management for preventative maintenance

Participates in on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 oversight of residential systems on evenings and weekends

Attends and participates in all meetings as directed by the Director of Person-Centered Services

A cultural organization (Not for Profit) based in NYC is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. The incumbent will be required to be in the office 4 days a week initially until they learn the position. The company will offer flexibility afterward, with the candidate required to be in the office as necessary, typically 1-2 times a week or when a Board meeting is taking place. Position Overview: The organization seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Finance to join our team. The Director of Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the financial reporting process, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and providing strategic financial insights to support our mission and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory Role: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Financial Reporting: Manage the entire financial reporting process, including assisting with the preparation and submission of Form 990.
Day-to-Day Accounting: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
FP&amp;A: Develop and manage budgets at a cross-functional level, providing financial planning and analysis to support organizational goals.
Cash Management: Conduct liquidity analysis and manage cash flow to ensure the organization can meet its financial obligations.
Audit Support: Provide support to external auditors during the annual audit process.
Development Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to provide updates on both revenue and expenses.
Board Support: Assist the CEO with the preparation of board packages and attend board meetings.
System Savvy: Utilize Financial Edge and other financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with a strong background in the non-profit sector (required).
Proven track record of managing financial reporting processes, including Form 990.
Experience in FP&amp;A, including budget development at a cross-functional level.
Strong cash management skills, including liquidity analysis.
Excellent supervisory and team management abilities.
Experience supporting external audits and working with development teams.
Strong proficiency with Financial Edge and other financial systems.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

The Controller will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role also includes oversight of HR, office operations, and compliance management, with two&nbsp;direct reports. Key Responsibilities Finance
<ol>
<li>Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, legal counsel coordination, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.</li>
<li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; report on variances.</li>
<li>Prepare and publish timely monthly profit &amp; loss and financial statements.</li>

Requirements

<li>Advanced degree in Accounting (minimum BA); CPA and/or MBA preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.</li>
<li>Experience in preparing financial statements and managing general ledger functions.</li>
<li>Proficiency in month-end/year-end close processes.</li>
<li>Excellent accounting software skills; Acumatica highly recommended.</li>

This direct hire role allows you to expand your project management career within a state-of-the-art technology organization. You will be responsible for the execution and oversight of multiple projects, throughout the entire project execution cycle, according to published scope of work and project definition. Candidates MUST HAVE capital equipment system projects, financially and commercially, from receipt of purchase order through customer acceptance. This on-site role requires a minimum of five-years current experience in project management experience as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience in capital equipment projects. Prior experience working in the x-ray or non-destructive testing (NDT) market HIGHLY preferred. Candidates MUST have CAPITAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE.
 
Salary range estimation: $75,000-$110,000.00 annually.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary point of contact for customer and fully responsible for the oversight of customer expectations, communication, and client satisfaction.

Thoroughly review all customer commercial terms and conditions and manage any possible and occurring deviations to ensure all terms are acceptable to both organizations and parties involved.

Ensure project designs and deliverables meet the defined scope of work, technical proposal outlines and/or customer specifications.

Collaborate with multiple teams to develop and implement a budget and schedule for each and every project.
</li>
<li>
Monitor task completion, purchasing and material control to ensure all completed according to schedule and budget.
</li>
<li>
Raise red flags for all deviances, possible or occurring.

Manage all project subcontractors, fabricators, vendors in accordance with project SOW.

Manage schedules and budgets aligned with customer requirements.

Prepare weekly reports for management/stakeholders to summarize progress of project execution against budget and schedule including variances and red flags noted.

Work with sales team pre and post-sale to fully understand project scope and pricing.

Interact with a cross-disciplinary engineering team, operations team, installation team and sales team to ensure proper management, execution and completion of project according to defined budget and schedule.

Travel to customer sites worldwide to participate in concept and technical discussions, kick off meetings, oversee installations, or to ensure maintenance of a positive customer relationship. Global travel up to 20% of the time with potential travel to India, China, and France.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Engineering or other applicable technical discipline.

Proficient in SolidWorks.

Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
