The role:
You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, driving business growth, and enhancing our customer experience across the US and Canada for both our direct-to-consumer and wholesale operations. You will drive the execution of our data strategy for front-office functions, empowering teams with robust data products and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. This role directly manages a Data Analyst.
What you’ll do:
The customer experience team purpose is to elevate the Clarins customer experience at every interaction and integrate customer insights throughout the organization to fuel growth and expand market share. Your role will play a critical role in achieving our objectives by focusing on the following responsibilities.
- Collaborate with front-office business teams (e.g., CRM, Marketing, Sales, Media) to contribute to the development and drive the execution of a comprehensive analytics roadmap that addresses key business challenges and opportunities and delivers actionable insights.
- Foster a data-empowered culture by enabling business users to self-serve through scalable data capabilities, including developing training programs and supportive content to drive adoption.
- Act as the Regional Data Product Key User Lead for all front-office data capabilities, spanning critical domains like Media, eCommerce, CRM, Sellout, and Customer Service. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to identify new product needs, request evolutions on existing products, and develop and project manage the regional data product roadmap.
- Partner closely with the data engineering team to ensure proper data modeling, robust data governance, and the scalable development of data products within our data lake environment.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for front-office data domains, championing data governance initiatives such as establishing consistent data definitions, ensuring data quality, and evolving data processes to enhance business understanding.

- Experienced in acting as a product owner for data products, ideally with exposure to large-scale data lake environments.
- Able to drive data governance initiatives and significantly improve data quality.
- Able to develop direct reports and foster an analytical mindset in colleagues across the organization.
You have:
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a senior individual contributor role.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, including SQL servers, Snowflake, and Databricks, as well as BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience with analytical programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Understanding of data delivery, data architecture, and data modeling methodologies.
- Experience with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation) is a plus.

Salary: $125,000-$135,000
