Position Summary
Reporting to Machine Shop Manager, the Machinist-II is responsible for the operation of computer numerically controlled machine to support the production of Praxis products.  Learn mechanical principles of Praxis products and manufacturing to become technical expert/resource on Praxis parts and products fabricated in house
 Programming of machines including set up and fixturing 
 Operate lathes and surface grinders
 Responsible for the operation of inspection equipment 
 Read and interrupt engineer drawings to assist with machinery set up
 Understand the impact of tolerances for error-free production
 Perform production operations in support of Praxis Technology processes to meet scheduled and quality client commitments
 Maintain compliance with Praxis Quality Management System
 Accurately complete all required record sheets
 Regularly maintain production and escalate any issues for resolution
 Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and applying best practices for on-the-job safety in a production environment
