Title: Quality Control Inspector
Salary: $21.50 - $22.75 per hour
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all products meet all quality standards before shipping. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following all safety and company guidelines.
Specific Duties/Essential Functions:
- Inspect and test materials and products at various stages of production to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformities and communicate findings to production teams and management.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct routine audits of manufacturing processes and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to management.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as needed, to support team and business objectives.
Role Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of and ability to use trade tools (i.e., micrometers, calipers, and go/no-go gages).
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, while working in areas exposed to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
