Job DescriptionJob Summary
The production associate position executes the manufacturing of finished products by following production processes and meeting or exceeding daily production goals.

A production associate must be able and willing to execute all production stations and/or jobs to support personal and team goal achievement.

A production associate ensures that products and services are delivered at maximum quality in an efficient manner. By following instructions from their Station Lead, Floor Supervisor, and/or the Production Manager, Associates complete tasks with a positive attitude and contribute to an overall culture of
accountability and professionalism.

Associates must understand variables affecting our manufacturing processes, anticipate potential challenges and then take initiative to correct and/or report issues to production leadership in a timely fashion. Production Associates are an integral part of the business process, and team, and must be highly competent, respected and trustworthy.

Responsibilities & Focus:

  • Meet or Exceed Daily Production Goals
  • Be set up and at your station, ready to begin your workday within 5 minutes of your shift time/clock in.
  • Stay focused on the task at hand, be proactive with questions, and seek support from leads and/or production management to ensure your goals and quality standards are met or exceeded, and the work output is consistent and in alignment with the product specifications.
  • Minimize ancillary activities and time away from your station except for scheduled break times.
  • Continuously strive to improve your work product in quality, quantity, and efficiency.
  • Be flexible, ready, and willing to cross-train and step into any production role as requested.
  • Keep Accurate Records of Work
  • Follow documentation procedures, accurately track materials, task time, log waste, and
  • Maintain accurate counts of finished product outputs from your station.
  • Work with your lead daily to ensure accurate tracking of personal and department data.
  • Do not clock out, leave your station, or the facility without first meeting all documentation, cleaning & daily SOP requirements.
  • Follow All Company Policies & Procedures
  • Maintain a sterile work environment by following all cleaning protocols, GMP, and personal PPE requirements.
  • Keep all personal belongings, including cell phones, outside of the production environment.
  • Be personally accountable for your compliance; follow the rules!
  • The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation

4. Organization/Documentation:

  • a. Ensure any and all data you are responsible for is collected consistently and is timely and accurate;
  • b. Able to plan, set goals, analyze data, and strategize, as appropriate within area of responsibility.


5. Flexibility:

  • a. Employees must be able to perform other job tasks not listed in their job description at the manager's discretion, within the bounds of reasonable requests and New York State labor laws.
