Job Summary:
The Front Desk Monitor 2 plays a critical role in the housing program as this position is the first point of contact for both clients, visitors, and vendors. They help coordinate non-clinical needs of clients by assisting the Front Desk Monitor 1, as well as clients, staff and vendors with daily requests and needs. They also control the front door and assist staff in crisis situations as they occur. It is expected that the Front Desk Monitor 2 provides excellent customer service at all times. This position also conducts regular tours of the building, monitors activities of the lobby area and completes incident reports, as appropriate.
 
Responsibilities include:

<li>Manage the reservation system and maximize seating efficiency</li>
<li>Strategically accommodate walk-ins while honoring existing bookings</li>
<li>Answer guest inquiries and incoming phone calls promptly and clearly</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance and host stand</li>
<li>Ensure menu books are printed, up to date, and prepped for service</li>
<li>Set up and break down the front desk area, including opening/closing side work</li>
<li>Provide floor team with initial table setups as needed</li>
<li>Participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions</li>
<li>Maintain a calm, focused demeanor in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Report any damage or breakage to management promptly</li>
<li>Collaborate with the management team and lead by example</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>Previous Maitre D’ or host experience in a high-volume restaurant or lounge</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal communication and a polished, professional demeanor</li>
<li>Familiarity with reservation platforms (Resy, OpenTable, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure</li>
<li>Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs</li>
<li>Willingness to learn, support teammates, and deliver gracious hospitality</li>
