We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a welcoming demeanor, as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The position involves various clerical and receptionist tasks essential to maintaining a smooth and well-organized office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact by greeting visitors and ensuring they feel welcome.
• Answer and manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system efficiently and courteously.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support office operations.
• Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
• Provide concierge-style services, addressing inquiries and directing individuals appropriately.
• Maintain the reception area to ensure it remains organized and presentable.
• Coordinate communications between departments and relay messages accurately.
• Offer support with scheduling and appointment management as needed.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the switchboard for lines ranging from 1 to 10.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and provide accurate information to callers and visitors.
• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in a detail-oriented office setting.
• Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor when interacting with visitors and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and software applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
