Compensation and Benefits:
KIPP NYC offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,829 - $136,704. Salaries are determined using an equitable compensation scale that accounts for years of experience relevant to the role, NYS initial or professional certification, and longevity within the KIPP network. KIPP NYC will evaluate a candidate’s years of experience, certification, and longevity at the point of hire to determine the step/level a new hire will be placed within our teacher salary scale.

Job Description
Job Title: Registrar Clerk 
Reports To: Registrar
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 35hrs/week.

Summary/objective
Essential functions

<li> Perform functions related to the preparation, storage and verification of permanent academic records.</li>
<li>Coordinate and maintain academic files to include preparation for document imaging.</li>
<li>Respond to requests for transcripts by students (unofficial for personal use) and from other institutions and agencies (official use).</li>
<li>Respond to and process questions from students, faculty, parents and other agencies regarding academic records while adhering to FERPA requirements regarding privacy of records.</li>
<li>Manage and process internship applications timely and in conjunction with the Career Center and other offices campus-wide.</li>
<li>Assist with external requests for certification of attendance, verification of enrollment and the preparation of appropriate forms.</li>
<li>Perform general office duties to include, but not limited to, greeting visitors, answering phones, taking and disseminating messages, data entry, processing mail, preparing correspondence, etc.</li>
<li>Process Permission Credit Request and entry.</li>
