About the role
Were looking for a warm, reliable Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our daycare team. Youll support the lead teacher in a busy toddler classroom, help create a safe, nurturing environment, and assist with daily routines and learning activities.
What youll do
<ul>
<li>Supervise and engage with toddlers (ages ~18 months3) in a safe, nurturing environment</li>
<li>Assist the lead teacher with daily lesson plans, routines, and activities</li>
<li>Help with diapering/toileting, meal/snack assistance, and nap time support</li>
<li>Observe and document developmental progress; communicate with parents as needed</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe classroom and follow health &amp; safety procedures</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Preferred: 2-year degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential</li>
<li>Some prior experience working in an early childhood classroom preferred</li>
<li>Patient, energetic, dependable, and able to work as part of a team</li>
