Instructional Planning, Preparation, &amp; Communication Implementing an age-appropriate curriculum that embodies social-emotional learning, early literacy and early math skills, art, music, applied theatre, and movement Assisting Lead Teachers in prepping, implementing, and hosting creative and age-appropriate activities Meeting weekly (1 hour after school) with the teaching team to plan, update documentation, and maintain a clean learning environment Updating displays of current projects around the classroom Attending monthly staff meetings, open house, curriculum night, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences (twice a year) Meeting with the Division Head to discuss project work and provide classroom updates Working collaboratively with the Lead teacher to provide student observations Documenting learning experiences and conversations among peers Supporting lead teacher-student documentation process Working collaboratively with the lead teacher to provide data for developmental progress reports and narratives Assist in writing Today Is in collaboration with the Lead Teacher Leading classroom lessons and management if the lead teacher is absent QUALIFICATIONS Passionate about working with children 2-3 years experience working with children, preferably working in a school setting High School Diploma/GED Required Associates or Bachelor preferred candidate has or will have a degree in early childhood. <li>Understanding of responsive caregiving and infant developmental stages </li>
<li>CPR/First Aid and DOHMH trainings preferred (can be completed upon hire) </li>
