The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate requires someone who is culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of the targeted population, possess excellent computer skills, be able to function as a part of an inter-disciplinary team and have understanding of therapy and group work rooted in evidenced based approaches for intervention and management strategies. Certified Recovery Peer Advocate services are peer-delivered services with a rehabilitation and recovery focus. They are designed to promote skills for coping with and managing behavioral health symptoms while facilitating the utilization of natural resources and the enhancement of recovery-oriented principles (e.g. hope and self-efficacy, and community living skills). The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate uses trauma-informed, non-clinical assistance to achieve long-term recovery from a behavioral health disorder.

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in education, business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).</li>
<li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, preferably in vocational or higher education.</li>
<li>Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.</li>
<li>Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.</li>
<li>Experience with hiring, scheduling, and managing performance in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CRM systems, student databases, and admissions software.</li>

The Dance Activity Specialist teaches and facilitates a youth centered dance class tailored to their specific expertise. Candidates with the following expertise are encouraged to apply:

Hours: 8 - 12 hours / week; Non Exempt, September - June
Schedule: Program Hours are Monday - Friday, 2pm - 6pm

Major Duties:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and develop age, and skill-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, activities, and special projects that fuse the dance competencies to be reviewed by supervisors before being taught. </li>
<li>Work with program participants to develop their artistic, educational, and leadership potential. </li>
<li>Pre-planning of activity; activities are to provide students with structure, purposeful use of activity and self, including beginning and ending rituals. </li>
<li>Facilitate a variety of scaffolded activities based on students’ interest. Activities should promote teamwork, opportunity for mastery, and emotional and professional growth. </li>
<li>Facilitate purposeful activities in community hour and participate in other staff lead activities as part of the staff team. </li>
<li>Foster a youth development, strength’s-based environment, fostering a sense of belonging, safety, and community to participants. </li>
<li>Engage and facilitate group conversations, tracking and supporting students’ academic success. </li>

Qualifications:
