We are hiring a Surveillance Investigator (SI) to conduct mobile surveillance for legal documentation purposes. Maybe local or regional.
 
This is an excellent way for an individual to grow their experience in surveillance and security fields. With over 15 years of experience, our highly trained investigators have conducted thousands of successful insurance claim investigations by obtaining innumerable hours of claim-disputing documentation, saving our clients millions of dollars on fraudulent claims.
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must have a current driver's license (a clean driving record may be required).</li>
<li>Should have or in the process (near completion) of obtaining a Private Investigator license.</li>
<li>Must have or able to obtain Auto insurance with 100/300/100 coverage limits.</li>
<li>Individual must have a laptop (with Microsoft Word) and a digital camera.</li>
<li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred (Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field)</li>

General Duties
<ul>
<li>Follow established protocols and procedures for conducting surveillance operations in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain a vigilant and discreet presence, avoiding detection, while observing subjects and their daily actions.</li>
<li>Document and report findings, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly.</li>
<li>Conduct mobile surveillance operations utilizing various monitoring equipment, including cameras and specialized devices.</li>
<li>Operate surveillance equipment and technology proficiently, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information obtained during the preparation for and during surveillance operations.</li>
<li>Prepare, review, and submit detailed reports of findings, incidents, and investigations within 48 hours. Reports must be concise, grammatically correct, easy to follow, and include all supporting documentation within 48 hours of surveillance completion.</li>
<li>Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance surveillance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management and support the organization's overall security and safety objectives.</li>

 What a day in the life of an investigator looks like:

<li>Surveillance involves monitoring, tracking, and recording subjects during their daily routines.</li>
<li>Engaging in both vehicular and on-foot pursuits of subjects while maintaining covert operations.</li>
<li>Tasked with diverse activities, ranging from filming individuals at grocery stores to capturing their presence at a sporting event. </li>
<li>Developing pre-surveillance plans tailored to the location and case particulars.</li>
<li>Comprehensive report generation, detailing the observed and recorded activities, along with the submission of video evidence.</li>
<li>Consistent communication with the team leader regarding setup positions, ongoing activities, and tactical approaches.</li>

This role is perfect for a licensed or unlicensed investigator looking for flexible hours while providing expert investigative services. We investigate all types of insurance claims including workers' compensation, suspected fraud, liability and aimed at mitigating expenses for our clients and delivering high-quality results.
 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct a variety of investigations, including Surveillance and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) assignments, within an assigned geographical area. Surveillance assignments require the investigator to obtain videotape documentation of the subject and for SIU assignments the investigator must complete the assignment as per the instructions given by the case manager.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Adhere to specific requirements of an assignment based upon the case manager's instructions</li>
<li>Review all case materials prior to conducting investigative activity</li>
<li>Complete video surveillance on identified individuals for the allotted amount of time and utilizes established investigative techniques to secure covert video footage</li>
<li>Conduct investigations such as securing recorded statements, scene inspections, activity checks and securing documents as assigned</li>
<li>Complete written notes on each case assignment in a timely manner</li>
<li>Submit all videotaped results, photographs, and digital recordings via e-mail by the next business day</li>
<li>Meet established deadlines set by the client</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with the assigning case manager with regularity regarding the progress of assignments</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality of all information obtained</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
