About the Position of Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. In addition, to ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Mavis, Service Managers must communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations.

Brooklyn Defender Services (BDS) seeks an attorney to join our Civil Justice Practice as a Housing and Benefits attorney to provide legal representation for individuals with concurrent criminal legal, family court, and immigration matters in Brooklyn and Queens.
BDS is a public defense office representing low-income New Yorkers in criminal, family, immigration, and civil legal matters. For nearly 30 years, BDS has worked, in and out of court, to protect and uphold the rights of individuals and to change laws and systems that perpetuate injustice and inequality. Our legal expertise work with clients is focused on the intersections of these legal systems that disproportionately impact Black and Brown communities living in poverty. 
BDS represents thousands of people each year who have diverse, complex, and multi-faceted legal needs. In addition to a zealous legal defense, our interdisciplinary teams of attorneys, social workers and advocates provide a wide range of legal and advocacy services, including for housing, public benefits, education, and employment. BDS staff work collaboratively and across disciplines to deliver high-quality legal services that serve the people we represent, their families and communities.
Our Civil Justice Practice cases on the Housing and Benefits team range from brief advice and plea consults for clients facing collateral consequences of arrest and conviction and includes full representation assistance in housing court and administrative hearings for clients facing eviction or termination from public housing, seeking essential repairs, or combatting landlord harassment and representation and advocacy for client who have been wrongfully denied public benefits. Often, allegations in family or criminal court are directly related to landlord-tenant issues and a holistic advocacy model can produce positive outcomes in both proceedings--for example, when neglect allegations in Family Court Article 10 proceedings are related to conditions in the home, our civil attorneys can help advocate and file repairs cases in housing court to ensure healthy homes for clients and their families. CJP attorneys serve as a resource for colleagues in other practice areas and will be expected to gain familiarity with underlying cases and their intersection with civil legal issues to facilitate internal referrals, assist with intake, consult on plea agreements, Article 10 settlements for better outcomes for clients. Position Information
This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position in the collective bargaining unit. The position is based at BDS’s offices in downtown Brooklyn and NYC courts and administrative forums. 
BDS determines salary on a pay scale based on education and experience. For this position there is a salary range of $91,000-$106,000 depending on the applicant’s education and experience. To deliver on this promise, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library/SNFL is seeking a bright, dynamic, and enthusiastic Supervising Librarian to provide leadership and direction to a team of public service professionals. SNFL is the largest circulating library in the NYPL system. This library is a vital hub for library patrons in and around the City of New York. It serves as a bridge between our neighborhood libraries and in-depth research library collections. ​This role requires an individual passionate about fostering a team environment that embraces change and delivers excellent customer service. They must work collaboratively within the SNFL programming and outreach team, internal library departments, and our external partners. Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Help to oversee and facilitate programmatic and outreach activities at the library</li>
<li>Oversee the day-to-day operations in the branch, including reference and reader services. In the absence of managers, assume overall responsibility for the building's operations</li>
<li>Work closely with the Director, Assistant Director, Managing Librarians, and other SNFL Library unit heads to provide strategic leadership, direction, planning and decision making to the SNFL team on all aspects of library services, programs and outreach:
<ul>
<li>public service, the user experience, collection development &amp; marketing and materials processing;</li>
<li>policy implementation, library facility condition, and supervision, training, and performance evaluation of staff</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaborate with unit heads to support and deliver a full range of public programs and outreach services to meet the needs of a diverse community. This includes incorporating skills for digital and analog content creation.</li>
<li>Utilize internal and external metrics to report on key issues to the SNFL Leadership team and key stakeholders to foster data-driven decision-making</li>
<li>Partner and strategize with other NYPL departments (administrative, support, and programmatic) to develop and launch new service initiatives and resolve staff &amp; operational issues</li>
<li>Participate in library and institution-wide committees or task forces as needed, and represent the library at community external partnership meetings</li>

 Position Summary: The Director of Vocational Services is responsible for designing and executing workforce readiness initiatives that connect youth ages 16–22 with meaningful employment opportunities. This role focuses on developing diverse, inclusive career pathways tailored to a wide range of interests, skill levels, and goals. The Director cultivates strong community partnerships and employer relationships to expand access to job placements. Additionally, they oversee the delivery of ongoing workshops and engagement opportunities that support youth in developing essential career and life skills. Responsibilities:

<li>Lead the administration and oversight of the McConnell Youth Employment Program, including budget management, program evaluation, and employer-paid worksite transitions through the McConnell Worksite Agreement.</li>
<li>Identify, develop, and maintain partnerships with local employers to secure supportive job sites aligned with youth interests and skill development.</li>
<li>Ensure all youth participants are properly equipped with the tools, skills, and support needed to succeed in the workplace; address any employment-related issues promptly.</li>
<li>Provide consistent communication and support to both youth and employers, especially during onboarding, to ensure clear expectations and successful placements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with vocational team members to meet performance goals, track youth employment data and outcomes, and evaluate program effectiveness.</li>
