What We're Looking For:

<li>7+ years of engineering experience, including technical ownership of production systems and business-critical software. </li>
<li>2+ years of people leadership experience, with a track record of hiring and developing high-performing teams. </li>
<li>Strong technical background in backend, infrastructure, APIs, or data systems (Java, C++, Python, or similar). </li>
<li>Proven ability to drive execution, define clear success metrics, and solve complex problems with data and rigor. </li>
<li>Skilled in managing ambiguity, prioritizing ruthlessly, and delivering under tight timelines. </li>
<li>Comfortable giving and receiving candid feedback, and modeling it for others. </li>

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. About the Role
iCapital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Telecom Engineer to lead and scale the enterprise-wide telecom infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on SaaS and CCaaS cloud phone solutions. This role will own the design, implementation, and management of iCapital's contact center platforms and unified communications systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and hands-on experience in cloud-based telecom environments. 

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead all telecom initiatives across the enterprise, including CCaaS platforms and SaaS integrations.</li>
<li>Manage all cloud-based phone systems including Genesys, Vonage VCC/VBC, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.</li>
<li>Own vendor relationships and oversee procurement, assignment, and lifecycle management of phone numbers.  </li>
<li>Design and maintain SIP trunking and VoIP infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. </li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align telecom solutions with business needs and compliance standards.  </li>
<li>Monitor and troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and call quality issues across platforms. </li>
<li>Maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and telecom asset inventories. </li>
<li>Correspond to the Corp-IT team in cross-departmental infrastructure meetings and strategic planning sessions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices. </li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>8+ years of enterprise networking and telecom support experience  </li>
<li>5+ years managing cloud-based telecom systems and contact center platforms</li>
<li>Expertise in SIP, RTP, QoS, and VoIP protocols</li>
<li>Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Prisma, and Genesys is a plus  </li>
<li>Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills</li>
<li>Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment </li>

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
