REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

**** Please note: This is not an Information Technology role, this position is structured solely to Service/Repair Leak Detectors, gas handling equipment, and provide complete full-scale Leak Detector support within Manufacturing and Electrical /Mechanical environments.
The candidate must reside on Long Island and will be based out of our corporate office in Ronkonkoma, NY, reporting to our Service Manager. 
Must have 3-5 years of previous Field Service Technician experience with proven Electrical and Mechanical background. 
The candidate will perform various activities as defined under the job responsibilities and in support of the standard leak detection systems, leak detectors and gas processing equipment that VIC designs and manufactures. Support includes travel within the US or where our business needs are required. 
Responsibilities include:
- Heavy travel through-out the USA.
- Must maintain and utilize your own vehicle.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits.
- Support onsite installations, repairs, maintenance, and test takers.
- Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Document processes.
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
- Follow all company's procedures and protocols.
- Communicate with technical team regarding open issues.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
- Build positive relationships with customers.
- Provide customer training on our products.
- Travel throughout our customer supported base (up to 70% after in-house and local training).

At Near Space Labs we design, build, and operate a fleet of stratospheric robots to image the earth. We launch our proprietary, balloon-based imaging robots to heights between 40,000 and 60,000 feet. From this vantage point, we capture petabytes of imagery for a variety of use cases. 
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Photogrammetrist / Image Processing Engineer with experience in the Earth Observation or Geospatial industry to develop, refine, and implement advanced photogrammetric and image processing techniques in our data pipeline. You will collaborate with our cross-functional software and data teams to enhance existing products and contribute to the development of innovative geospatial solutions.
Your responsibilities will include
<ul>
<li>Develop, enhance, and implement bundle adjustment algorithms to improve geospatial data accuracy.</li>
<li>Build orthorectification and mosaicking processes and pipelines.</li>
<li>Collaborate with software engineers to integrate algorithms into production systems.</li>
<li>Contribute to new sensor design and support camera calibration tests, working closely with our Flight Vehicle Engineering unit and payload engineers.</li>
<li>Implement algorithms for Image Correction with RGB and multispectral sensors, including color correction, geometric correction, and radiometry when needed.</li>
<li>Improve georeferencing processes and experiment with different approaches.</li>
<li>Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on geospatial data processing.</li>

Your Skills
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience.</li>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Geomatics, Computer Science, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in bundle adjustment techniques and photogrammetric processing.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of Remote Sensing and Earth Observation data collection and processing techniques.</li>
<li>Proficient in Python.</li>
<li>Knowledge of GDAL and geospatial Python libraries (Shapely, rasterio..)</li>
<li>Familiarity with aerial imagery analysis, and geospatial data handling.</li>
<li>Familiarity with imagery processing libraries such as OpenCV.</li>
<li>Experience working in a professional software development environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with cloud-based imagery or data pipelines.</li>

Description We are seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join our growing team.
&nbsp;The Senior Substation Engineer is required to work within a multi-discipline team to design efficient and reliable electrical substations. The engineer will coordinate his/her design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion. The engineer will also assist the Estimating Team in preparation of estimates and project proposals.
Aside from engineering duties, we are looking for the incumbent to be able to provide a presence to our area clients. &nbsp;We are looking for someone to be our "face" to the client. &nbsp;Significant client face time and interaction is required. &nbsp;A strong business sense would be beneficial.
This position is accountable to provide design activities in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including our policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. &nbsp;
Specific duties include:
