Responsibilities
Assessment &amp; Observation
<ul>
<li>Assess individual’s to determine the habilitation needs</li>
<li>Develop and supervise the implementation of the Staff Action Plan (SAP)/Residential Habilitation Plan (RHP) goals and the Individualized Protective Oversight Plan (IPOP)</li>
<li>Monitor the integration of services and make changes in the objectives of the SAP (RHP/IPOP)</li>
<li>Analyze the data based on the execution of the RHP to monitor the progress of individuals and write the monthly progress notes</li>
<li>Perform observations and spot checks to monitor the implementation of goals. Retrain staff and revise goals as needed based on observations and clinical recommendations</li>

Qualifications &amp; Work Experience

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following professional categories (including, but not limited to) human services, sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling, psychology or related field required</li>

Position Summary
The mission of Primitive Pursuits is to steward the health of our community by fostering life-long relationships with the natural world through exceptional mentoring and nature education. We have been providing nature connection programming to people of all ages for over twenty years and are excited to continue our overnight camp program at Arnot Forest.
The Natural Crafting Program Specialist is one of the core facilitators of Primitive Pursuits; immersing groups of youth into natural areas, away from facilities and without modern gear, and engaging them in a fun way that sparks a deep, meaningful connection to the natural world, themselves, and each other. The key role of the Natural Crafting Program Specialist is to design and facilitate daily activities, projects and challenges for youth centered on natural crafting, including but not limited to; carving, primitive tool making, natural dyes, basket making, hide processing, etc. They will act as a mentor who is able to ignite the campers curiosity about natural craft projects through role modeling curiosity, art of questioning and experiential learning. The Natural Crafting Program Specialist shares their knowledge, promotes stewardship, and nurtures a healthy relationship with the outdoor environment.
The Natural Crafting Program Specialist will work alongside other staff and work with campers ages 9-16. There will be housing onsite provided in one of our rustic cabins, which includes access to a kitchen and bathrooms. All meals while camp is in session are provided at no cost!

Required Qualifications

What The Restorative Justice Coordinator Does:
