This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework governing Cannabis production – plants and derived products – in New York State, including compliance requirements, best management practices, and the historical context of federal Cannabis regulation. The ideal candidate will possess both practical experience in the Cannabis industry and strong teaching abilities to effectively guide students through the evolving regulatory landscape in NYS.

On our students paths to and through college, nationally recognized competitive programs provide an edge for college admissions, but also for college persistence. The coach will be responsible for all aspects of competition, including identifying tournaments, registration, securing judges, tryouts, motivating and preparing students, and keeping school leaders informed of progress. The coaching role is part-time and will report to the Enrichment Program Manager.
Qualifications 
Preparation &amp; Practice Time: Up to 6 hours a week ● Up to 2 hours per week preparing for Projects, competitions, and after school practices. ● Long-term coaching during “Projects”: Meet with students Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 hour each day, from August to June. ● On average at least 6 hours of practice outside of school hours weekly, working directly with students to prepare for competition ● Internal employees who also serve as coaches are responsible for the preparation and communication about any absences caused by team tournaments during their standard work hours Competitions: at least 6 weekend tournaments over a 6-month period ● Research and identify appropriate competitions and tournaments. ● Sign up for competitions, in partnership with the school-based Enrichment Program Manager. ● Coach and travel with students to at least all competitions ● At least one competition should be nationally recognized (for example, National Speech &amp; Debate Association). These competitions should have regional/district qualifiers that can lead to competing on the national scale. ● Chaperone students to at least 2 regional/local competitions that take place ahead of the national competition and can serve as preparation Family Communication ● Because of the significant time required for after-school practices, school-based Enrichment Program Managers and coaches identify team members and confirm commitment via signed parent permission form indicating after-school commitment ● In partnership with the school-based Enrichment Program Manager, establish a family communication protocol using the Remind app to update families about competition, after school practices, and any other time outside of school that students will be doing club-related activities.
 Additional Information 
Coaches will receive an annual stipend of $3,500-$4,000 based on experience and contracted hours per week, paid semi-monthly.

Essential Functions The BCBA Supervisor (acting as one of our licensed clinical coordinators) is a licensed position, will provide expertise in ABA and human development related services, serving as a member of the clinical leadership and supervisor of BCBAs and/or RBTs. Working with students in the Founders Cohort, they will evaluate treatment progress, conduct assessments, including FBA’s, develop behavior plans, and provide clinical supervision and support. This individual will also support the design and development of treatment plans and provide direct support and interventions that meet the individualized needs of students. They will coordinate progress reports, provide on-call clinical crisis coverage, deliver behavioral and family therapy and oversee visitation protocols. They will maintain key relationships and collaborate as needed and required with students, their families and all levels of staff at the Shrub Oak International School to ensure that the individualized needs of each student are met. Having access to confidential information, discretion and independent judgement is required.

<li>Utilizes a variety of treatment modalities that are student centered, strength based, empathic, and creative to address each student's particular needs</li>

Graduate Assistants (GAs) are integral in building community at SIA-NY in that they create a welcoming environment, assist with student and visitor questions and concerns, and maintain a clean, organized space in the 6th Floor Student Commons area in the Library. In addition to providing quality customer service, GAs are responsible for performing a variety of front desk and clerical functions in both the Commons and the Library. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

6th Floor Commons / Reception Area
<ul>
<li>Front desk coverage (including reception and answering/ directing telephone inquiries) for evenings and weekends; </li>
<li>Provide support to and assist in the management of after-hours happenings at the Institute including, community events, MA classes, and evening study hours. Community events support may include artist lectures, career workshops, book signings, and admission events; </li>
