Responsibilities include:

<li>Build relationships with Career Services and Public Interest Law Center to promote FWS/PSG employment opportunities. </li>
<li>Oversee the BLS LRAP Program.</li>
<li>Manage the awarding of the Yellow Ribbon program recipients in collaboration with Registrar. </li>
<li>Conduct Loan repayment and debt management workshops in partnership with AccessLex. </li>
<li>Manage outside scholarships, including building partnerships with AccessLex.</li>
<li>Oversee update of BLS Connect Financial Aid PSG/FWS, Yellow Ribbon and AccessLex pages. </li>
<li>Manage the weekly Financial Aid disbursement process to ensure awards are reconciled with DOE/COD SAS Report.</li>
<li>Oversee Direct Loan Default Management program in collaboration with the Director of Financial Aid and Specialist.</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate financial aid eligibility for Study Abroad Programs, Exchange, Dual Degree, and consortium agreements.</li>
<li>Collaborate and coordinate with the Director of Financial Aid in providing request for information during independent annual audits or DOE audits. </li>
</ul>
Required:
<ul>
<li>A bachelor’s degree is required. </li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in financial aid administration, ideally at the graduate or professional level within an educational institution.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Department of Education regulations and financial aid compliance.</li>
<li>Familiarity with budgeting and reporting to federal, state, and accrediting authorities.</li>
<li>Familiarity with campus student information systems, Colleague is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>

SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Director, the Mentor Teacher is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality educational instruction to students in Special Education and Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Programs. This role involves planning and implementing individualized educational programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, and fostering a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom environment.
The Mentor Teacher also serves as an instructional or teacher-team leader and professional development coach within the school building. They provide ongoing support, guidance, and modeling to teachers, assistant teachers, and student teachers to enhance instructional quality and student outcomes. As a teacher-team leader, the Mentor Teacher ensures collaboration among interdisciplinary teams (i.e., related service providers, families, etc.) and contributes to continuous program improvement.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Mentor Teacher will include, but are not limited to the following:
