Job Brief: The Clinical Staff Training Coordinator will be responsible for training and supervising Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP) in QSAC’s Day Habilitation Programs. BCBA candidate or BCBA required. Travel across all Day Hab sites, implement and monitor training protocols across all Day Hab sites.
The salary range for this position is $65k-80k annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Make recommendations to Behavior Intervention Specialists for clinical interventions.</li>
<li>Train, guide and supervise staff in using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Behavior Intervention Specialists to conduct functional behavior assessments.</li>
<li>Work with BIS’s to develop behavior support plans and data collection systems.</li>
<li>Review day habilitation plans, behavior support plans, goals, and progress notes.</li>
<li>Participate in the lifeplan process and goal development.</li>
<li>Review and maintain documentation and provide reports to supervisors.</li>
<li>Assist BIS’s/ QIDP’s in conducting in-service trainings.</li>
<li>Develop training protocols and provide staff training across all sites</li>
<li>Provide training and support to Behavior Intervention Specialists for development of proactive and reactive strategies/SCIP-R interventions and implementation</li>
<li>Travel across all Day Hab sites in assigned region, at times traveling to sites outside of the region.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>A Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.</li>
<li>BCBA candidate or BCBA required</li>
<li>Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.</li>
<li>Experience in working with the adult developmental disabilities population.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in the development of data-based curriculum goals and the ability to develop behavior intervention plans based on functional behavior assessment (FBA).</li>
<li>Minimum of two years’ experience either working directly with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and/or adults with intellectual &amp; psychiatric disorders or supervising Behavior Intervention Specialists, lead teachers, supervisors, consultants and/or equivalent position.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience conducting parent/family/caregiver/staff training.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel across QSAC sites.</li>
<li>Ability to run.</li>

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Quad Preparatory School is looking for a Floating Psychosocial Teacher for our Upper School. Duties include:
<ul>
<li>Provide milieu-based support throughout the school day to monitor and address student behavior</li>
<li>Provide support to students, teachers and clinicians regarding student needs, staff and student safety, and assisting with positive behavior interventions</li>
<li>Individual would report to the Assistant Head of School</li>
<li>Support student arrival, lunch and dismissal processes</li>
<li>Uphold program-wide student positive behavior plans and school safety protocols</li>
<li>Support teaching and clinical staff in managing student behavior and following Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) protocols during crises</li>
<li>Take direction from clinical team and administration to support student interventions</li>
<li>Assist clinical team in the implementation of bullying protocols and restitution tasks

<li>The process includes, but may not be limited to:communicating reason for behavioral consequence with the student, supporting reintegration into the room, assisting with de-escalation of dysregulated students</li>

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Quad Preparatory School is looking for a floating associate teacher for our Upper School (grades 6-12) campus. The floating associate will fill in for head teachers and psychosocial teachers when needed to provide instruction and social-emotional support to students. Our classrooms typically consist of ten or fewer students.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Teachers have the opportunity to receive mentorship, coaching, and support from the clinicians as well as academic administrators.
&nbsp;
Expectations:
<ul>
<li>Take on the responsibilities of a head teacher or psychosocial teacher, following lesson plans and the directions of other classroom teachers.</li>
<li>Report to the teacher on his or her return as to what was accomplished during the teacher’s absence.</li>
<li>Develop and be ready to implement “emergency” lesson plans in the event a teacher’s absence is unexpected and plans are not readily available.</li>
<li>Push into the homeroom classes for interdisciplinary lessons and classroom support on days when substitute coverage is not needed.</li>
<li>Perform administrative and clerical tasks for Upper School faculty and administration on days when substitute coverage is not needed.</li>
