Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Enablement, the Senior Learning Experience Designer, Operations Enablement will design, develop, and maintain all ongoing training and onboarding materials for multiple teams within Operations. This role is central to modernizing and centralizing training through a blend of digital learning and robust knowledge management systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design expertise with hands-on experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) (preferably Absorb) and enabling teams through knowledge base platforms (preferably Guru). This is a full time remote position on our team with occasional travel required for company or team events. 
What you'll be doing: 
<ul>
<li>Manage the intake process for training and enablement requests — triaging needs, scoping projects, and aligning priorities with key stakeholders across Operations.</li>
<li>Design, develop, evaluate, and maintain compelling, engaging, and scalable eLearning content for onboarding and ongoing training across Operations.</li>
<li>Manage and maintain the LMS, ensuring courses are properly assigned, completion is tracked, and learning paths are optimized for engagement and performance.</li>
<li>Serve as the LMS subject matter expert, overseeing course structure, reporting, content governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Co-own the knowledge enablement ecosystem by maintaining and expanding our Guru knowledge base — organizing content, implementing standards, and ensuring knowledge accuracy and accessibility.</li>
<li>Partner with subject matter experts and leadership to revise, approve, and maintain content that reflects current processes and business needs.</li>
<li>Track training KPIs and learning analytics to measure impact, identify gaps, and continuously improve the learner experience.</li>
<li>Support and evolve internal enablement communications to reinforce key learning initiatives.</li>

What we expect from you:

The target base salary range for this position is $97,325 - $114,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Senior Learning Experience Designer, Operations Enablement

<h3>Job Description</h3>
The Executive Director of Admissions and Enrollment provides strategic leadership for all enrollment management functions of the schools of JTS. They serve as the lead institutional professional for the development and cultivation of relationships with key organizational partners for the benefit of new student enrollment, advise the senior administration on all enrollment-related matters, and supervise the professionals and day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office. They are responsible for the enrollment-related aspects of all school-specific initiatives and work collaboratively with the academic deans and other division heads (e.g., Development and Communications, Lifelong and Professional Studies, and Alumni Affairs). They also provide strategic oversight and execution of institutional financial aid and student scholarships. 
 
The person in this position will be a creative and strategic leader who possesses a demonstrated knowledge of undergraduate and graduate enrollment management and community partner cultivation. They also possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and are prepared to join academic and administrative colleagues in maintaining the high quality of education for JTS’s students, ultimately moving the institution forward in national and international prominence.
 
This position reports to the Provost.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibility for day-to-day enrollment matters related to student persistence, aid and donor reporting, marketing and communications, major scholarship gift and grant consultations, and developing and executing specific enrollment initiatives with the Provost, Deans, and partners at Columbia and Barnard.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supervision of the Admissions Team and daily oversight of undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools’ admissions operations.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversight of JTS’ instance of the Technolutions Slate enrollment platform, including development of inquiry, application, and enrollment structures. Oversee day-to-day functionality and develop strategy for system, drip, and ad hoc communication flows.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversight, program development, and execution of all internal and external enrollment pipeline partnerships.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Development and implementation of targeted enrollment marketing for all schools (digital, print, and social media); serve as point-of-contact for third-party digital marketing and cultivation vendors like EAB and others.&nbsp;

Strategic Responsibilities:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Serve a strategic thought partner to the Provost, Vice Chancellor for Development &amp; Communications, and Deans on enrollment strategy.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strengthen existing partnerships and find new partnerships to attract applicants locally, nationally, and internationally, working closely with JTS’s external facing departments such as Community Engagement and Development for the benefit of enrollment and student scholarship enhancement.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate across departments on the development of an institutional, enrollment-based marketing message for JTS to help position the institution as an option for traditional-age, adult, and graduate students and identify features that differentiate JTS and each of its schools from its competitors.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Design and execute strategy for dispersal of all institutional aid to incoming and continuing students at JTS; collaborate with CFO, Deans, Development, and the Financial Aid office to determine institutional aid budget; and chair scholarship &amp; financial aid Committees for all schools.
 
Operations &amp; Supervisory Responsibilities:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide daily oversight for the Admissions Team and supervise personnel in all admissions and recruiting functions.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and implement best practice policies and procedures to maximize yields on inquiries and applications to enrollments.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee travel planning for admissions directors and coordinate recruiting with the Chancellor’s, Dean’s, and faculty travel schedules.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of strategic data use across the enrollment operation.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Liaison with IT, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other campus staff to share information, provide detailed reports, triage issues, and strategize plans.

Qualifications:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor’s and master’s degree.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated record of past success in higher education administration, admissions, and/or enrollment management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
