POSITION:
Millers Launch Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to fill a full-time position as an Tug Captain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and documentation of widespread safety, health and environmental policies for the vessel. This individual will be responsible for the vessel’s compliance with local, state, federal and international laws and regulations pertaining to navigation, safety, health, and environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Stand wheelhouse watch on the assigned vessel

· Oversees training and mentoring of crew members

College Essay Writing Instructor (Part-Time) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, bi-weekly, beginning in September. [Dates below.]
Class Meeting Dates:
September: 13th, 27th
October: 11th, 25th, 8th
Duties:
· Work with a group of 8-10 high school seniors on their college essays
· Lead writing and editing workshops with students in group and individual settings
· Provide written/oral feedback to students on essay submissions
· Provide progress reports to the Co-Director
