Job Description 
AHRC NYC is seeking a Program Director for their Enhanced Step Down Program (ESD). The Enhanced Step Down (ESD) Program Director is a Licensed Mental Health Professional who oversees both the Critical Time Intervention (CTI) and Transitional Residential Setting (TRS) components of the ESD program. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to overseeing hiring, training, program development and effective delivery of services in the ESD.&nbsp;

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
The ESD provides trauma informed clinical and transitional residential support through the Critical Time Intervention and TSR program components for people with I/DD experiencing psychiatric or other behavioral health crises.&nbsp; The ESD Program Director.
<ul>
<li>Engages in policy and procedure development; recruitment, training and evaluation of program staff; budget monitoring; quality assurance and quality improvement activities: and internal and external reporting to relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Facilitates identification, creation, and development of services and activities to meet the needs of people supported, consistent with program objectives.</li>
<li>Supervises overall intake, discharge, post-discharge, and utilization review practices and activities.</li>
<li>Evaluates and makes recommendations to senior management about quality-related concerns regarding the ESD program.</li>
<li>Ensures proper monitoring of budget expenditures and generates budget reconciliation reports for funder and senior management.</li>
<li>Monitors and manages the program's ability to fully meet quality and contract metrics related to service delivery requirements.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains positive relationships with external stakeholders and the community, as needed.</li>
<li>Performs additional duties, as needed.</li>

Qualifications 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp; 
<ul>
<li>Master’s level clinician with at least 3 years of related experience required.&nbsp; Licensed mental health clinician preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience in supervising staff</li>
<li>Must be knowledgeable in the field of developmental and intellectual disabilities and have experience working with people with both I/DD and psychiatric disorders.</li>
<li>Must have ability to plan, organize, develop, and implement program policies and procedures in a timely and consistent manner.</li>
<li>Ability to be patient, enthusiastic and confident when interacting with people supported by the program, understanding the psychosocial and cognitive levels at which they are functioning.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to deal diplomatically with personnel, guests, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.</li>
<li>Must possess ability to make independent decisions and handle stressful situations when circumstances warrant.</li>
<li>Valid Tri-StateNew York State driver's license, in good standing and safe driving history, with no or infrequent violations/suspensions/revocations preferred.&nbsp;</li>

Job Description Field Investigator
Job Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
A majority of the work activity involves field SIU requiring the investigator to obtain high quality videotape documentation of claimants who have filed workers compensation and liability/personal injury claims. Investigators are also responsible for submitting accurate and timely reports regarding the results of their investigations. In addition, investigators conduct background investigations, scene diagrams, neighborhood canvasses, activity checks, and locates. The Field Investigator performs their duties using the highest legal and ethical investigative standards while efficiently utilizing time and resources to provide outstanding investigative services.
Essential Job Functions:
<ol>
<li>Adequately prepares for each assignment by reviewing client special handling instructions, case objectives, and all case information prior to initiating investigative activities.</li>
<li>Conducts assigned field investigations and initiates SIU activities, including photography or videotape, to obtain requested evidence.</li>
<li>Conducts assigned field investigations and </li>
<li>Reviews court records and records at various other governmental offices to obtain necessary information to complete background checks.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with Case Manager, Assistant Case Manager, and client regarding progress of assigned cases, and recommendations for further initiatives.</li>
<li>Reviews documentation collected and makes recommendations for securing additional background information that may be needed for the case.</li>
<li>Consistently completes investigations according to client's special handling instructions.</li>
<li>Completes assignments on or before assigned deadlines.</li>
<li>Ensures confidentiality of all information obtained through investigative activities.</li>
<li>Manages assigned cases until closing while maintaining accurate and well-organized case files. Effectively utilizes available resources, including Internet, to complete assignments.</li>
<li>Testifies to the facts collected in any hearing or court of law.</li>
<li>Other assignments and projects as dictated by business need or management direction.</li>
