This position provides oversight to the maintenance department and oversight regarding the department budget and construction/renovation projects. The position is accountable for the maintenance of all machinery, tools, and equipment, as well as for the agency’s fleet. 
Essential Job Functions

<li>Oversees Opengate’s maintenance team, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs of all agency assets. This includes training and developing the team as necessary.</li>

Qualifications

Parts Cleaners / Metal Finishing Technicians use machinery or manual means to clean, degrease, and remove chips or burrs created by the stamping/cutting/punching process from manufactured parts.&nbsp; This then allows for the uniform application of a finishing material such as precious metals like gold and silver.&nbsp; Parts Cleaners / Metal Finishing Technicians should be independent self-starters who work well in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable using tools and machinery, have great attention to detail, and are able to read sketches and blueprints.&nbsp; They must execute quality work under strict deadlines, have good manual dexterity, be able to adapt to process changes, and perform some troubleshooting and quality control.&nbsp; This is a great entry-level position with many opportunities for transfer/advancement into related manufacturing departments once the initial skills are mastered.
