Role Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible to provide housing services to help clients understand and overcome personal or social issues affecting their housing. The housing specialist will cooperate with case managers to develop service plans for clients to ensure permanent and stable housing and access to community sources. The specialist will be encouraged to be cross trained and have an understanding of the job functions within the Social Services Department. 
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties: 
The Housing Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to:

For over 60 years PSS has performed vital and important work -- through its ten senior centers, caregiver services and affiliated programs, the agency touches the lives of over 2,000 people a day. As the Driver/Custodian of one of the senior centers, you will be responsible for providing safe individual and/or group transportation for center members and be responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility. The Driver/Custodian role is vital in ensuring that transportation is provided to allow our members to remain mobile and engaged in their communities and, ensuring that the center is a physically welcoming and a safe place for all members and visitors.
This is a part time non-exempt position that reports directly to the Senior Director of Older Adult Centers. 
RESPONSIBILITES:

Job Description: This role offers a great opportunity for growth and for developing a specialized skillset in precision finishing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle delicate materials, work in a controlled environment, and comply with strict quality and aerospace standards. Responsibilities include the preparation, sealing, sanding, and reaming of small electronics assemblies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the final appearance, surface quality, and durability of our components before shipping or assembly.
Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Perform manual and mechanical sanding on small, machined aluminum, metal, or composite parts to specified tolerances and surface finishes.</li>
<li>Operate tools and equipment such as orbital sanders, Dremels, brushes, drill press and sealing applicators with a high degree of accuracy.</li>
<li>Apply epoxy sealant according to process specifications and engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Apply accurate and consistent marking per specification requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare components for final finishing and/or assembly by deburring, cleaning, reaming, and masking as required.</li>
<li>Inspect surfaces for defects, contamination, or nonconformance </li>
<li>Maintain compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and customer-specific quality standards.</li>
<li>Complete all required documentation (e.g., travelers, routers, inspection sheets) accurately.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with EH&amp;S policies.</li>
<li>Other duties as required</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior experience; technical/vocational training is a plus. </li>
<li>2+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing preferred.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work under a microscope or magnification tools.</li>
<li>Comfortable working with chemicals, solvents, and in a controlled environment.</li>
<li>Ability to use hand tools, power sanders, pneumatic dispensers, and other finishing equipment.</li>
<li>Good manual dexterity, patience, and the ability to handle delicate parts.</li>
<li>Regular standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs., and fine hand movements.</li>
<li>Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.</li>
<li>Ability to retrieve and interpret electronically stored data</li>
</ul>
