<li>Document dashboard logic, data sources, and data models for internal and external use </li>

<li>Translate business requirements into actionable data models, working closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure reliable, well-structured datasets. </li>

<li>Collaborate with the Data &amp; Analytics team to design, refine and deliver visualizations that meet stakeholder needs </li>

<li>Create and manage semantic data layers, custom visuals, calculated fields, filters, and parameters within QuickSight. </li>

<li>Train and support customer users on how to use AWS QuickSight effectively for self-service dashboard creation </li>

Requirements
Education &amp; Experience: 
<ul>
<li>4-year degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics "STEM" or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Hands on experience designing, building and delivering customer facing dashboards </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Worked in a domain with strict compliance requirements (FERPA, HIPPA, etc.) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Worked on enterprise-level analytics solutions, for a large number of customers </li>
</ul>
Skills &amp; Competencies: 
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in AWS QuickSight, including SPICE, data prep, visuals, calculated fields, and dashboard sharing/security. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, normalized vs. denormalized data). </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with data governance and access control best practices within a BI environment. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Highcharts or similar JavaScript-based charting libraries is a plus. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Highly organized, able to work independently if needed </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work cross-functionally with both business users and technical teams, including experience in requirements gathering. </li>

<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and present complex data concepts to non-technical users and groups. </li>

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000.
