JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Camp Director Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work with group of campers and provide a fun, safe and exciting camp experience</li>
<li>Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water, as needed (lifeguard certification not required)</li>
<li>Work with and supervise counselors in a supportive manner</li>
<li>Assign counselors to specific tasks and manage their performance</li>
<li>Complete and submit daily and weekly administrative tasks electronically</li>
<li>Greet families and campers upon arrival and orientate them to camp</li>
<li>Establish rules with campers and staff and review emergency procedures</li>
<li>Manage parent expectations by knowing your campers and conversing with parents at pick-up and drop-off times</li>
<li>Plan daily camp schedule and activities</li>
<li>Shop for camp supplies, staying within supply budget provided by KE Camps</li>
<li>Prepare activities in advance</li>
<li>Manage any issues that may arise including, but not limited to, camper behavior issues, parent complaints, etc.</li>
<li>Check in with the KE Camps Office to update them on your camp and any issues you may be encountering</li>
<li>Complete other duties, as assigned</li>

Our camp is located at Laurel Links Country Club in Laurel, NY. Camp will run Monday-Friday from July 6 through August 21 - staff members must be available to work the full camp season.

JOB FUNCTION: 
The Cage Cashier is responsible for providing monetary services for SGE guests, including, but not limited to: exchanging tickets for cash; processing advances drawn from credit and debit cards; establishing and processing transactions for patron deposit accounts; and making change. The Cage Cashier is also responsible for providing monetary services for other casino departments and team members thereof. Additionally, the Cage Cashier is responsible for all duties of a Main Banker and General Cashier Banker, as well as for maintaining and supporting various remote kiosks, which service guests and other casino departments. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming and Entertainments policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Maintains and reconciles all assigned SGE assets during the course of a shift or gaming day. 2.Allots jackpots to slot attendants for payment to guests; distributes and collects slot attendant banks. 3.Distributes and collects cashier banks. 4.Orders monies through exchange slips. 5.Redeems tickets for currency and coin. 6.Completes cash advances, cashes personal checks. 7.Uses coin sorters, wrappers and currency counters; counts down station/float/bank, puts coin away and verifies money received from vault/bank/drop. 8.Conforms to all rules and regulations of SGE CTR / SAR Compliance. 9.Accepts and distributes funds representing withdrawals, and wire transfers. 10.Maintains remote kiosks for redemptions, purchases, jackpots, etc. as necessary. 11.Maintains counter check inventories and deposits; processes transactions affecting those inventories. 12.Maintains accountability for assigned keys and key inventories. 13.Provides any assistance as needed to immediate supervisor. 14.Remains thoroughly knowledgeable of all appropriate regulations. 15.Maintains the confidentiality of all gaming records. 16.Works closely with team members of gaming departments and casino cage departments. 17.Maintains a current understanding of all policies and guidelines regarding information security, including the Seneca Gaming and Entertainment Variance Policy. Understands and complies with all information security policies and procedures at all times. 18.Provides exceptional guest service to all guests and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with peers, supervisors, managers, and all other team members. 19.Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. 20.Completes all required SGE Training programs within specified guidelines from commencement of employment. 21.Attends all necessary meetings. 22.Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed; other duties may be assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of previous cashier or money handling experience is required. Previous customer service experience, and/or the ability to demonstrate high-level service, listening and resolution skills required. Previous clerical/data entry experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of start-up and close-down of cash registers is preferred. Knowledge/operational skills of coin counter, coin wrapping machine and currency counters preferred. Must be able to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, personal computer, telephone, and multi-function photocopier. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Camp facilities include a large playfield, high and low ropes courses, platform tents and lean-to units, a modern dining hall, a health lodge, a shower house, and buildings for activities and programs. Campers range from first through twelfth grade. Summer Camp dates at Hidden Lake Camp are June 28th – July 31, 2026. These dates include pre-camp training and post-camp clean-up. All positions include room and board. Camp staff are generally off from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon each week. GSNENY operates two summer overnight camps; Hidden Lake Camp in Lake George NY and Lake Clear camp near Saranac Lake, NY. This position can be combined to work at both camps for a full summer of employment (8 weeks total, June 28th – August 21nd.) Key Responsibilities:
