Position Summary
The Director of Facilities and Grounds is responsible for ensuring that the buildings, grounds, and facilities operated by Opengate are safe for occupancy, usable, well maintained, in good repair and esthetically pleasing. This position provides oversight to the maintenance department and oversight regarding the department budget and construction/renovation projects. The position is accountable for the maintenance of all machinery, tools, and equipment, as well as for the agency’s fleet. 
Essential Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Oversees Opengate’s maintenance team, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs of all agency assets. This includes training and developing the team as necessary.</li>
<li>Follows federal, state, and local governmental regulatory guidelines pertaining to a safe, healthy, and clean work environment, always giving consideration to the needs and preferences of the people Opengate supports.</li>
<li>Works in coordination with the CCO to ensure plans for safety and security exist to mitigate risk to the people Opengate supports, as well as employees and visitors. </li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.</li>
<li>Must have journeyman skills in one of the major maintenance trades (e.g., carpenter, electrician, painter, plumber, etc.)</li>
<li>Must have working knowledge of at least two other major maintenance trades. Courses taken at recognized trade schools may be substituted as working knowledge of a major trade only.</li>
<li>Must have five years’ experience as a maintenance worker or construction worker and two years supervisory experience in building maintenance, construction trade or building contractor and five years’ experience in an administrative oversight capacity in building/grounds maintenance, or the construction trade.</li>
<li>Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.</li>
<li>Experience with interpreting blueprints and working diagrams. </li>
<li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to prepare and present reports, records, and budgets.</li>

Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Armed Security Operative. The Armed Security Operative will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior).&nbsp; Additional duties include controlling access and egress; monitoring CCTV and alarm systems; composing reports; deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.</li>
<li>Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed</li>
<li>Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client</li>
<li>Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal&nbsp;will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li>

<li>A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch</li>
<li>Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service</li>

Our client, a growing mid-sized real estate Management &amp; Consulting firm is seeking a full-time temporary to permanent administrative assistant.

<li>This is temp-to-perm position.</li>

Job Summary:
The administrative assistant will provide support to property managers with the day-to-day operations of luxury multi-family buildings in NYC (primarily Cooperatives &amp; Condominiums).
The successful candidate will effectively manage all administrative, communication, organizational and operational tasks while working collaboratively with other departments (i.e. finance, A/R, A/P, sales &amp; leasing, project management, etc.), support the manager, board members, and residents.
