Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

<li>Overseeing the performance of Door, Frames, and Hardware installation and activities including, overseeing, and coordinating all aspects of this trade work; ensuring that trade activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to the project contract drawings, specifications, and safety standards.</li>

Qualifications:

The base salary for this role is between $115,000 and $130,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Develop specialty curriculum in conjunction with the Educational Specialist and Program Coordinator</li>
<li>Set goals for a specialty component in conjunction with Educational Specialist and Program Coordinator</li>
<li>Create a nurturing and supportive environment for the youth </li>
<li>Implementation of various educational, social skills development, and recreational activities in relation to specialty activity</li>
<li>Engages children in activities that support academic enrichment and augment the classroom experience</li>
<li>Act as a liaison with parents</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
 
Program Specific Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assists with the implementation of daily group specialty activities</li>
<li>Designs daily and weekly specialty lesson plans</li>
<li>Provides individual or small group instruction as required</li>
</ul>
 
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Experience working with youth in area of specialty</li>
<li> Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work well with young people and their parents</li>
<li>Program design and curriculum management or implementation experience</li>
<li>Experience with or knowledge of best practices in youth development preferred </li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.</li>
<li>Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork.</li>
<li>Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.</li>
<li>Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.</li>
<li>Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.</li>
