Required Skills and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Graduate Nurse graduated from an accredited nursing school</li>
<li>Eligible/obtain limited permit</li>
<li>Must obtain BLS and ACLS certification prior to completion of the introductory period.</li>

Physical Demands:

<li>Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., Use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.</li>

SANY’s Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Elementary School is excited to announce the immediate opening of a Building Substitute Teacher position (Grades K-4) for the 2025-2026 academic year.

As a Building Substitute, you will:

<li>Assist with preparation and instruction</li>
<li>Work closely with small groups of students and provide intervention</li>
<li>Actively participate in weekly meetings and attend all school-wide events</li>
<li>Implement classroom policies and procedures</li>
<li>Lead students to and from specials/lunch</li>
