JOB DESCRIPTION: Experienced sewer cleaning and septic systems technician. Be familiar with high velocity water jetting and septic systems (how to install, fix and replace). Must be familiar with underground drainage and water piping and know how to use a sewer camera.
Candidates who know how to operate an excavator and heavy-duty equipment, are familiar with digging and excavation safety standards are preferred. Selected individual must be able to work nights and weekends hourly/commissions. Be able to handle heavy duty equipment and able to analyze drain problem and run cable to open the drain line at both residential and commercial locations. Must have previous experience with a professional sewer drain cleaning company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Removes roots, debris, and other refuse from clogged sewer lines and drains, using portable electric sewer cleaning machine, and repairs breaks in underground piping: Positions or disassembles sewer trap machine at sewer or drain outlet.</li>
<li>Removes drain cover, using wrench.</li>
<li>Clean and deodorize work site and remove debris</li>
<li>Installs rotary knives on flexible cable, mounted on reel of machine, according to diameter of pipe to be cleaned.</li>
<li>Starts machine to feed revolving cable into opening, stopping machine and changing knives as necessary to conform to diameter or contour of pipe.</li>
<li>Withdraws cable to deposit accumulated residue removed from pipe in containers for disposal.</li>
<li>Observes residue for evidence of mud, indicating broken sewer line.</li>
<li>Measures distance from sewer opening to suspected break, using plumbers' snake, tapeline, or by estimating position of cutting head within sewer.</li>
<li>Notifies coworkers to dig out ruptured line or digs out shallow sewers, using shovel.</li>
<li>Removes and replaces broken tile section or pipe, using caulking compound and cement to form watertight joint.</li>
<li>Replaces or directs replacement of earth.</li>
<li>Replaces dull knives and performs repairs on machine, using hand tools.</li>

What You’ll Do as a Precast Project Manager
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams, clients, subconsultants and agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.</li>
<li>Successfully lead projects from initial setup through planning, safety analysis, and project kick-off.</li>
<li>Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing to stay on plan.</li>
<li>Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout.</li>
<li>Lead transportation and underground structures precast design projects, ensuring compliance with industry, regulation, and safety standards.</li>
<li>Support the preparation of project proposals by collaborating with senior staff and technical teams.</li>
<li>Coordinate with design teams to develop detailed plans, specifications, drawings and bid packages.</li>
<li>Perform technical reviews and provide guidance to resolve design challenges.</li>
<li>Manage a project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met.</li>

Salary Range $95,000-$130,000
 
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Requirements:
What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Precast Project Manager
<ul>
<li>B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s preferred</li>
<li>8+ years transportation experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures and pump stations).</li>
<li>Precast project management experience</li>
<li>Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it</li>
<li>Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, AASHTO and IBC codes</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD &amp; RISA 3D</li>
<li>Proven Client relationship and business development experience</li>
