Bradford Construction currently has an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to support multiple projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency. 
Roles &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate, schedule, and manage all subcontractors and vendors.</li>
<li>Expedite subcontractors and vendors on a daily and weekly basis.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve construction-related issues as they develop.</li>
<li>Supervise self-perform work and develop specialized construction methods to improve job efficiency.</li>
<li>Oversee material receiving, ensuring all items are inspected for quantity and quality, and receiving tickets are signed, coded, and filed properly.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records.</li>
<li>Support jobsite reporting requirements, including: daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, monthly updates to the overall construction schedule,</li>
<li>Review shop drawings and submittals to assist project managers in maintaining compliance with the submittal schedule and contract documentation. </li>
<li>Attend all required jobsite meetings.</li>
<li>Maintain consistent quality control in line with company standards.</li>

Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years work experience as a technical specialist in the construction industry.</li>
<li>Proven experience in interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).</li>
<li>Experience in new and modernization type construction.</li>
<li>Valid New York or New Jersey State driver's license.</li>
</ul>
Education: Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field, or additional transferable experience. #LI-Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Contribute to the architectural design and delivery of multiple public-sector projects, including new construction, modernizations, </li>
<li>Coordinate the work of consulting firms to ensure project alignment with agency goals and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare and supervise the development of project scope, pre-schematic, schematic, preliminary, and construction documents, including reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough design and constructability reviews to confirm code compliance, coordination, and feasibility.</li>
<li>Administer the construction phase of projects by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, performing site visits, and supporting project closeout.</li>
<li>Mentor and train newly assigned staff and external design consultants on project standards, documentation practices, and procedures.</li>
