Primary Focus: 
The Director of Construction is a key leadership role that is responsible for overseeing a team of project managers, field crews and support personnel in a growing environmental construction organization. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

<li>Prepare regular reports for on project status, financial performance, and departmental metrics and confirm all project documentation is accurate, complete, and stored appropriately.</li>
<li>Work with leadership team for the prioritization of projects and monitor the volume of work and progress of the construction schedule.</li>
<li>Manage a team of project managers to ensure the projects follow the expected timelines and budgets.</li>
<li>Gross Profit Review two times a month (mid-month and by month close).</li>
<li>Responsible for reviewing, completing and executing project contracts in accordance with set requirements.</li>
<li>Manage day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple projects concurrently to ensure client satisfaction.</li>
<li>Ensures that all jobs are assigned to a Project Manager, and they maintain fiscal control.</li>

<li>Ensures field personnel are being trained, developed and performance managed while overseeing the recruiting efforts needs for the construction team.</li>

<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to serve as the primary point of contact regarding construction operations.</li>
<li>Monitor project progress, addressing potential risks, and implementing corrective measures as needed. Confirm all process milestones are met and attend meetings as necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time.</li>
<li>Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards and ensure all regulatory permits or approvals are in place.</li>

Applicants must have a good work ethic and be willing to occasionally work overtime. Our hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some weekends may be worked if overtime is needed. Must be able to lift 25+ pounds safely and routinely. Fluent in English and Spanish would be a plus! We offer competitive salary and benefit packages - commensurate with experience.
