WeCare Centers at Foltsbrook Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Floor Care Technician for our community in Herkimer, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete work requisition orders as needed.
- Preform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures.
- Set up equipment and supplies.
- Moves furniture to and from resident’s rooms or other areas
- Dust mops floors, washes baseboards, wet mop floors.
- Buffs floors and restrooms.
- Scrubs floor using scrubbing machine.
- Ensures a safe environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate all equipment in a safe manor.
- Must have experience operating Commercial Floor Stripper
- Ability to interact and communicate with residents, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner.
- Previous experience within a care facility
- Ability to work independently or in a group.
- Basic understanding of following step by step procedures.
