The Operations Assistant plays a key role in the overall visitor experience at the Botanical Gardens. In collaboration with the Director of Horticulture &amp; Operations, the Operations Assistant is responsible for janitorial services in our buildings, and grounds and supports the overall operation as it pertains to the day-to-day functions of our teams.
Building and Grounds Maintenance 
<ul>
<li> Responsible for proper care, maintenance and keeping a high standard of cleanliness on our campus including inside and outside of our buildings and on our grounds.</li>
<li> Perform daily cleaning routines including sweeping, collecting trash and recycling, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen spaces, office spaces, classrooms and other shared spaces. </li>

Education and Experience

A violation free drivers license is required for this position.

Goforth Electric is looking for an Electrician at our Brockport, NY location. This is a full-time position, reporting to an Electrical Foreman. This role is responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting and maintenance within complex commercial and industrial settings and teaching and mentoring apprentices. The Route Manager (RM) is responsible for the safe and efficient completion of all available work for their assigned routes. Most days will consist of a mix of 30% office-related activities and 70% field-related activities. The route manager will engage in record keeping activities, scheduling, billing, jobsite quality and safety checks, and fleet and equipment maintenance management. This position requires a significant amount of driving from jobsite to jobsite. At times, the route manager may be required to engage in or work alongside crew members both for training and for assistance, and therefore must be willing to engage in washing and other manual labor activities. The route manager must possess some training in computer use and can learn Kept Companies operations software. Skills and experience in managing a dynamic work environment with many employees of varied skill levels is a must. Qualifications:

<li>Applicants who hold licensure in the state of New York as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist are highly preferred.</li>
</ul>

<li>Part-time to Full-time Positions are also available for counselors and social workers that carry the benefit of Clinical Supervision that leads to full licensure as an LMHC or LCSW within two years of employment ($10,000 a year benefit).</li>
</ul>

<li>In addition, internship candidates from accredited Masters level Counseling and Social Work programs are welcome to apply.</li>

Outpatient Counselor Western New York Region (Group Practice)

Job DescriptionSalary: 45-50K 
 
POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the NORC &amp; HOPE Director, the NORC Programs &amp; Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities and events for program participants with the assistance from program members and staff.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent and Minimum of 2 years of programmatic experience. Organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy office (performing multiple tasks simultaneously), is necessary. Knowledge of effective recruitment, engagement strategies and program planning. Strong interpersonal, time management, organizational and communications skills.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree or degree in social work or a related mental health degree. Experience working with seniors in a community setting. Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English; conversational-level Spanish/Cantonese preferred. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Work with program members and staff to develop a comprehensive schedule of classes, workshops, and group outings informed by constituent feedback</li>
<li>Coordinate with Facilities team to ensure that all meeting rooms are reserved and set up for participant activities and events</li>
<li>Establish and sustain the Advisory Council that provides member leadership opportunities regarding program development</li>
<li>Collaborate with other community organizations to enhance programs, including identifying resources for presentations about health and other relevant issues</li>
<li>Coordinate outreach for presentations about health and other relevant issues</li>
<li>Coordinate outreach with local educational institutions to develop and implement intergenerational projects to engage students and seniors</li>
<li>Develop and conduct holiday, cultural and other special programs, including group outreach events</li>
<li>Create and distribute communications, including flyers and calendars, on educational, health programming and entertainment for NORC members on weekly, monthly and as-needed basis</li>
<li>Work with the social services staff to identify clients in need of friendly visiting and escorting services and liaise between them and the volunteers assigned for this purpose to ensure that unmet needs are identified and addressed</li>
<li>Develop and conduct evaluation procedures to secure program member and volunteer interest, concerns and suggestions</li>
<li>Maintain a database of volunteers and their hours of service</li>
<li>Develop narrative and statistical reports as required and maintain all necessary records</li>
<li>Work with the External Relations department to coordinate NORC volunteers initiatives</li>
<li>Provide basic information about agency and NORC services</li>
<li>Be available to work on either Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, to be decided in consultation with the Director, as well as other holidays and special events as necessary.</li>
<li>Be aware of programmatic targets and goals and work towards these in all activities provided to participants</li>
<li>Collect and enter required data in a timely manner</li>
<li>Engage in professional development and apply learned knowledge towards using evidence-based best practices</li>
<li>Engage in data analysis processes conducted by the Evaluation and Quality team to determine strengths and areas for improvement and follow action steps in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process</li>
<li>Assist in carrying out and participate in Community Building activities to support organizational effectiveness and outreach</li>
<li>Perform other related tasks as assigned</li>
</ul>
WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical office setting that may require occasional travel between multiple sites consistent with a community center environment.
 
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires frequent communication with participants, management, and staff. Frequently remain in a stationary position. Frequently operate a computer and other office machinery, such as phone and copy machine. Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
