DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Perform daily inspections of all clients’ rooms</li>
<li>Escort clients to appointments as needed</li>
<li>Interact with and monitor client’s behavior and maintain good rapport by providing excellent customer service. Encourage clients to comply with facility policy and procedures.</li>
<li>Control access at the main entrance by screening all clients, and visitors, utilizing magnetometer / x-ray machine to detect and prevent weapons from entering the site. </li>
<li>Perform Crisis Intervene to de-escalate potential crisis situations and document all such situations and interventions.</li>
<li>Make hourly rounds throughout entire facility including all hallways, stairwells, floors, bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchen, and office spaces.</li>

<li>Assist with client intakes</li>
<li>Perform daily pack ups and logging of client property belonging to AWOL clients</li>
<li>Store and remove client property once the mandated storage time have expired</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized storage area</li>
<li>Complete logs, incident reports and all other required documentation.</li>
<li>Make calls to police, fire department and other first responders as directed.</li>

High school diploma or GED and prior security experience required. Must have NYS Security Guard License, and current 8 Hour Annual Certificate. Fire Guard License for Shelters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) preferred. Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime if necessary.

Position Overview:
The Program Site Coordinator will oversee staff and after school activities directly. The Program Site Coordinator is tasked with ensuring that the afterschool program, winter and summer camps and all other programming align with core competencies as outlined by DYCD, DOH, and FDNY protocols. The Program Site Coordinator will foster social and emotional learning through a range of engaging activities, which include project-based initiatives, creative and performance art programming, STEM activities, sports, and literacy-focused programs. As a Retail Security Officer, you will serve, safeguard and more for our clients and their guests in a retail setting.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.</li>

Minimum Requirements:

<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES 
<ul>
<li>Provide direct services to clients, including Housing intake, engagement, assessment, service plan development, referral, advocacy, counseling, exit summaries and follow-up </li>
<li>Manage a case load</li>
<li>Monitor and document client progress toward housing service plan goals/exit strategy</li>
<li>Document all interactions with, or on behalf of clients</li>
<li>Maintain familiarity with Housing programs, various subsidies/vouchers/resources available on- and off-site</li>
<li>Provide presentations on housing as assigned by the program director</li>
<li>Coordinate client services with other social service, mental health, medical, employment, child, DHS, HRA and other providers</li>
<li>Conduct regular case conferences with clients and service providers as required</li>
<li>Complete program reports on a monthly basis, or more frequently as required</li>
<li>Act as program contact person for inquiries concerning clients</li>
<li>Review service plans and psycho-social assessments as assigned</li>
<li>Report to, and meet with, supervisor on a minimum monthly basis</li>
<li>Conduct home visits and other field work, as required</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or another related field of study preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of four years experience in a related position.</li>
<li>Engaging personality and detailed orientated skills are essential.</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology is required.</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 
<ul>
<li>Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.</li>
<li>Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork.</li>
<li>Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.</li>
<li>Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.</li>
<li>Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.</li>
