The mission of the Community Connections program at Job Path is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities&nbsp;are visible in society and are recognized as equal citizens. We work one-on-one with people using a true person centered approach in order to foster relationships between people and their communities.
We are looking for DSPs to work with participants who are new to JobPath as they are coming in through our transitional programs.&nbsp;
Our cohort changes and we support people all throughout the city but at the moment we have participants located in the Bronx, Harlem, and Brooklyn. Our current cohort has participants who are interested in sports and fitness (especially swimming and bike riding), creative arts (such as video editing, wood crafts, and other arts), computers and gaming, creative arts (singing, dancing, acting), and working with children. Our cohort has a range of personality and communication styles so we welcome anyone to apply but ideally we are looking for DSPs who are willing to help these participants adjust to our day hab program and build their programming.&nbsp;
Days and times will vary depending on but we can also supplement hours with other open shifts in the department.&nbsp;&nbsp;Typical shifts are 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm, though there is variability in schedules based on the needs of the people we support. We are seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as a Spa Concierge. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

We are specifically looking for DSPs who can provide support in Washington Heights for at least one weekday and on the weekends. We are specifically looking for people with availability from 7am to 3pm and/or 3pm to 10pm. Required trainings typically take place during the week, advance notice is given.

Position: Residential Aide Reports To: Shift Supervisor Location: 39 Ainslie Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11211 What The Residential Aide Does:

<li>Update and inform clients of program changes (i.e., food services changes, laundry assignments, etc.) through individual and group meetings.</li>
<li>Assist with client bed-check every evening.</li>
<li>Conduct dorm inspection to ensure client compliance with facility policies.</li>
<li>Intervene and diffuse inappropriate client interaction, as necessary.</li>
<li>Monitor clients’ behavior and report client changes in behavior or personal care to Supervisor and/or appropriate social services staff.</li>
<li>Ensure that clients receive personal care products and laundry products weekly, and replace any personal care items as needed.</li>
<li>Sort, count, and bag bed linens, blankets, and towels (may wash, dry and fold).</li>
<li>Distribute clean bed linens, blankets, pillows, and towels to clients.</li>
<li>Monitor clients' use of laundry facilities, including running new client’s belongings through the dryer.</li>
<li>Strip former clients' beds and lockers, sort, bag, label and document belongings, carry bags to storage area, and store bags for safekeeping.</li>
<li>Identify, sort, bag, label and document valuable client belongings (i.e., electronics, cash, documents, etc.) and give to Supervisor for storage.</li>
<li>Follow client belongings policy and retrieve personal property of former clients upon their return.</li>

<li>Check food deliveries for quality and quantity of items and report any issues to Supervisor.</li>

Pay Structure:
