Putnam Court is a building which was developed and is operated by Dunn Development Corp., a private developer.&nbsp; Putnam Court is a newly constructed residential building located on Putnam Avenue between Irving Place and Downing Street in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.&nbsp; The project consists of a seven-story elevator building containing 59 residential units, with 58 units of rental housing and one superintendent’s unit. CAMBA, Inc. is the on-site services provider at Putnam Court. Thirty-four apartments, 58% of the units in the building, will be master leased by CAMBA and will house Population A chronically homeless single adults who are diagnosed with SPMI (seriously and persistently mentally ill) or MICA (mentally III and chemically addicted). The remaining 24 units are occupied by community residents, who may require some services.

Short Term Housing Program: CAMBA’s Short Term Housing Program (STHP) provides 35 units of congregate and transitional housing to PLWHA who are homeless or at serious risk of homelessness. There are 7 clients residing at CAMBA’s congregate facility located at 27 Winthrop Street and 28 clients living in community apartments (15 families and 16 singles). Program staff will ensure that all apartments are in close proximity to public transportation and accessible to other amenities such as health care, shopping, laundry, and other necessary services. STHP housing program provides a model of service that addresses the interrelated problems of HIV and homelessness. Through a congregate residence at 27 Winthrop, and the apartments in the community, we provide transitional housing, case management support, and housing readiness training in a supportive environment, which will help clients develop the skills to find and maintain permanent, stable housing.

What The Residential Aide Does:

What The Residential Aide Does:

<li>Intervene and diffuse inappropriate client interaction, as necessary.</li>
<li>Monitor clients’ behavior and report client changes in behavior or personal care to Supervisor and/or appropriate social services staff.</li>
<li>Ensure that clients receive personal care products and laundry products weekly, and replace any personal care items as needed.</li>
<li>Sort, count, and bag bed linens, blankets, and towels (may wash, dry and fold).</li>
<li>Distribute clean bed linens, blankets, pillows, and towels to residents.</li>
<li>Monitor residents’ use of laundry facilities.</li>
<li>Strip former residents’ lockers, bags and tags belongings, carry bags to storage area, and store bags for safekeeping.</li>
<li>Retrieve personal property of former residents upon their return.</li>
<li>Change and launder bed linens, blankets, and towels and prepare residents’ quarters for new residents.</li>
<li>Escort clients to appointments as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare kitchen and dining facilities for mealtimes and clean up after each meal.</li>
<li>Prepare paper goods, setups and condiments for mealtimes.</li>

Overview
MHA in Ulster County, Inc. has a&nbsp;Full-Time position (37.5 hours/week) as a Site Supervisor for our OMH licensed residential programs working with adults who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness and possibly co-occurring substance use disorder. The supervisor coordinates services with Ulster County Mental Health and other outside agencies. They manage the day to day operations, including the responsibility for staff supervision and the safe and therapeutic care of resident participants in accordance with MHA’s goals and certifying regulations. These services will be individualized and client centered to enhance the functioning levels and quality of life of the client population.&nbsp;The supervisor also monitors Medicaid billing and all paperwork documentation requirements. Includes day and some evening hours and on-call coverage. 
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The pay rate is $25.97 hourly.
Responsibilities Include
<ul>
<li>Planning and implementing a rehabilitative program and/or individually designed services.</li>
<li>Overseeing the day to day operation.</li>
<li>Work with the Director of Residential Services to meet program/department goals and objectives, both independently and as a team, and ensure and maintain the confidentiality of all agency program participants and department information.</li>
<li>With treatment team input, be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of individualized service plans.</li>
<li>Supervision of staff and providing a safe environment for the residents in the program.</li>
<li>Supervise the administration and taking of medication as required and document in the MARS.</li>
<li>This position requires an organized, efficient person to monitor Medicaid Billing, OMH Regulations, Incident Review, Quality Assurance&nbsp;and all paperwork documentation requirements for the program.</li>

Qualifications

<li>A&nbsp;Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a Human Services related field; or Associate’s Degree in Human Services&nbsp;and 3 years working experience in Human Services.</li>

<li>Experience working with adults recovering from mental illness and secondary problems in&nbsp;chemical abuse necessary.</li>
<li>Must have a clean, valid NY State drivers license with 3 years licensed driving experience.</li>
