Reading and interpreting engineering plans and vendor specifications.

Climbing ladders, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs.

Schedule: 2nd Shift; M-F 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM
Important Notice Regarding Work Location: The initial work location for this position will be at our facility in Peekskill, NY. Please note that our operations are scheduled to relocate to Middletown, NY in early 2026. Candidates must be willing and able to work in Peekskill for approximately 6-8 months following their start date, and transition to the Middletown location once the move is complete.

Job Summary:
The Case Packaging Lead is responsible for overseeing the efficient packaging of cannabis products for fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the packaging process. This role is key in managing case packaging operations, tracking inventory, and ensuring that all materials and finished products are properly labeled and prepared for distribution. The Case Packaging Lead collaborates with the fulfillment and inventory teams to maintain smooth operations and timely product delivery, while also ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal standards.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Track and report on case packaging data and team performance.</li>
<li>Ensure the case packaging team is working efficiently and meeting daily production goals.</li>
<li>Manage and monitor inventory of packaging materials, ensuring availability for the team.</li>
<li>Audit and verify the accuracy of finished product packaging and labeling.</li>
<li>Create and print package labels in compliance with regulations.</li>
<li>Track and maintain accurate records for non-cannabis goods inventory used in packaging.</li>
<li>Handle system tasks such as transfer orders using Microsoft Dynamics.</li>
<li>Track and report on packaging waste and rejected items.</li>
<li>Count and log rejected products to ensure accuracy in reporting.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the fulfillment team to ensure packaged products are ready for distribution.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Skills and Abilities:

<li>1+ years of experience as a Production Lead or Inventory Lead preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.</li>
<li>1 year of packaging experience preferred.</li>
<li>1 year of experience in the cannabis industry preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of inventory counts and reporting.</li>
</ul>
 
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be physically capable of standing for long periods or entire shifts.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.</li>
<li>Must have full use of arms and fingers for fine manipulation of cannabis, making boxes, and applying compliance stickers.</li>
<li>Must be capable of repetitive motion using hands and arms.</li>
</ul>
