<li>The primary purpose of the CNA is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by supervisors..</li>
<li>The Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, must be committed to our mission to deliver superior healthcare to our residents in a manner which promotes independence, preserves dignity, &amp; strives to improve their quality of life</li>
<li>Provide residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established procedures &amp; document the resident care appropriately</li>
<li>Create &amp; maintain a calm atmosphere throughout the unit/shift</li>
<li>Prepare residents for meals, serve trays, &amp; assist with feeding as indicated</li>
<li>CNA will check residents routinely to assure that their personal care/hygiene needs are being met including giving/assisting residents with bath functions</li>
<li>Assist with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, &amp; transferring residents into/out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchair, lifts, etc.</li>
<li>Answer resident calls promptly &amp; report all changes in resident's condition promptly</li>
<li>Measure &amp; record temperatures, pulse, blood pressures, etc. as instructed</li>

 Requirements:

<li>Holds CNA Certification in New York State that is current &amp; in good standing</li>
<li>Dedicated to providing extraordinary compassionate care as a CNA to each resident</li>
<li>Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, &amp; passionate about quality care</li>
<li>Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, &amp; sometimes challenging residents</li>
<li>Patience, a cheerful disposition, &amp; willingness to assist any residents &amp; co-workers</li>
<li>Excellent communication, customer service, &amp; organization skills</li>
<li>Trusted to work independently &amp; in a team environment</li>
<li>Able to work well under pressure, flexible, &amp; will work harmoniously with all staff</li>
<li>Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC</li>
