Essential Duties
</li>
<li>Responds in a professional, polite and helpful manner when dealing with customers.</li>
<li>Operates, maintains and repairs HVAC/R equipment including air handlers, chillers, refrigeration systems, etc.</li>
<li>Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on HVACR and associated systems within site.</li>
<li>Responsible for on demand HVAC requests from building tenants.</li>
<li>Working on elevated platforms &amp; Working in Confined Spaces</li>
<li>Performs other tasks as instructed within contracted guidelines.</li>
<li>Works with and takes direction from the Chief Engineer.</li>
<li>Thoroughly and accurately completes paperwork and prepares reports.</li>
<li>Assists in emergencies as needed including emergency calls at non-scheduled hours.</li>
<li>Works according to the schedule prepared by the Chief Engineer.</li>
<li>Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly and safe condition.</li>
<li>Learns, understands and complies with fire, safety and other emergency practices.&nbsp;Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.</li>
<li>Learns, understands and complies with all Company and customer policies.</li>
<li>Participates in training directed at increasing job-related skills.</li>

Requirements
</li>
<li>High school graduate</li>
<li>3+ years' HVAC experience</li>
<li>Preferred related technical school certification</li>
<li>Needs central plant experience </li>
<li>Need Class A </li>
<li>CFC preferred but not required</li>
<li>If you do not have Class A license, must obtain within first 90 days of start date</li>
<li>Light plumbing will be required – bathrooms. </li>
<li>Need to be ok with miscellaneous tasks like painting as well</li>
<li>Preferred two or more years of experience with commercial HVACR equipment and systems.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials used in building maintenance.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills with knowledge in Office products</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry over 50lbs</li>
<li>Excellent troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Ability to keep detailed records of activities performed and complete basic reports.</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical documentation.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain good working relations with other staff and client contacts and employees.</li>
<li>Availability to work shifts and overtime as needed.</li>
