We are seeking a Case Manager/Substance Abuse Counselor for The Doe Fund's newest permanent supportive housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS. The program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. Forty-one units will be allocated for residents referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) and twenty-seven apartments will be for adults referred by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). 
The Case Manager/Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for providing supportive case management services to the HASA-funded residents. The successful candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills along with an understanding of working with the HIV/AIDS population.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receives instructions, print requirements, shop orders, set-up information and route cards from Foreman, Programmer, Floor Inspector and Instructor.
· Reads and interprets prints and set-up information to determine tool and set-up requirements. Before machining, checks material, pattern number.
· Sets up CNC turning equipment to perform a variety of turning, drilling, boring, milling, facing, grooving, tapping, cutting off, tapering, operations using multiple axes and tools whenever possible in machining parts to specified dimensions and finishes; and turret lathe to perform machining operation in conjunction with CNC equipment.
· Procures jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments for job. Makes pot chucks and/or bores soft jaws for holding semi-finished pieces.
· Loads and unloads machine either manually or with hoist.
· Operates CNC turning center and controls program offsets as needed to turn, bore, mill, face, drill, tap, and ream castings, forgings, weldments, and bar stock to various tolerances. Works to .0002” tolerances.
· Resharpens and grinds tools as necessary.
· Notifies Foreman, Programmer, or Floor Inspector and Instructor of any unusual condition of material, misapplication of cutting tools, or of any suspected malfunctioning equipment.
· Disassembles, cleans, and lubricates chucks and machine per required schedule.
· Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly.
 
 
Requirements:
· Interpret drawings, set up and operate CNC turning center to perform a variety of precision machining operations.
· Reason through problems involving set-up and operation of moderately complex equipment, requiring considerable judgment in selecting and using tools and equipment.
· Use various tools and gauges to set up and operate CNC turning center to drill, turn, bore, mill, tap and perform a wide variety of operations involving close tolerances and multiple tools.
· Close attention required to prevent damage to cutting tools, gages and machine.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor the CASAC-T Counselor will provide counseling services in integrated outpatient program. The CASAC-T Counselor provides comprehensive assessment services to clients who may have substance use and mental health barriers to employment by applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and level of care. This includes performing SUD diagnostic screening, assessment, evaluation, orientation, treatment planning, case management, counseling, intervention, crisis intervention, patient education, reporting and record keeping in both individual and group counseling settings. The CASAC-T Counselor is also responsible for referrals and coordination of care in consultation with other professionals. 
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

<li>Intervention and employing a range of treatment modalities to include person centered evidence-based treatment approaches to include but not limited to motivational interviewing, stages of change, trauma informed care, anger management, medication assisted treatment, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and contingency management.</li>

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Traveling Journeyman Electrician &nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for the installation of electrical systems in the commercial construction markets at job sites and small/medium project locations. Holds responsibility for direct supervision/coordination of assigned helper/apprentice electricians, on a per job basis. Responsible for promoting excellent customer relations. Must be able to interact with the customer, determine their needs and provide solutions. Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Report to project worksite on time and ready to work.</li>
<li>Exhibit a willingness to apply oneself, to learn, and to develop electrical skills.</li>
<li>Apply basic electrical and construction principles and practices to solve design, development and modification problems with parts, assemblies provided.</li>
<li>Complete work in accordance to national and local codes.&nbsp; Learn and keep current with latest revision of NEC.</li>
<li>Complete work in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Fulfill daily commitments and stay on project schedule as directed by job-site foreman.</li>
<li>Assist with loading materials, digging trenches, pulling wire through conduit, and other various tasks needed to complete project.</li>
<li>Treat all customers, other trades personnel, vendors, fellow workers, etc. with dignity and respect.</li>
<li>Keep job site clean before leaving and be kept clutter free during the work.</li>
<li>Complete paperwork including timecard and turn in when required.</li>
<li>Know, follow and hold others accountable to the safety policy, program and training of CESG.</li>
<li>Trouble shoots most common electrical systems including, but not limited to, services, feeders, and branch circuits.</li>
<li>Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.</li>
<li>Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.</li>
<li>Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and installs electrical conduit.</li>
<li>Travel is a must.</li>
<li>Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.</li>
<li>Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.</li>
<li>Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.</li>
<li>Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads.</li>
<li>Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.</li>
<li>Repairs faulty equipment or systems.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
