Job Summary
As the Sous Chef for a premier corporate client at 1166 Avenue of the Americas, you will support the successful culinary operations of the executive dining program. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, generally starting at 6am (occasional evenings will be required). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Support the successful culinary operations including planning and menu creation, preparation, cooking, service</li>
<li>Providing outstanding service to guests and clients</li>
<li>Manage a culinary team of hourly associates</li>
<li>Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team.</li>
<li>Assists with managing cost controls and controlling expenditure, inventory, ordering</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience</li>
<li>Experience in fine dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, and/or related food service operations.</li>
<li>Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.</li>
<li>Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.</li>
<li>ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.</li>
<li>Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel.</li>
