YOU WILL:

ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Tax Partner in the Real Estate group here at Anchin, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax guidance and solutions to clients within the real estate industry. You will be responsible for leading and managing tax engagements, developing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the tax practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of real estate tax regulations, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Provide expert tax advice to real estate clients, including developers, investors, and property management firms.</li>
<li>Analyze and interpret complex tax regulations and legislation affecting the real estate industry.</li>
<li>Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions and achieve their business objectives.</li>
<li>Lead and manage tax engagements related to real estate, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.</li>
<li>Monitor and manage client relationships, addressing client needs, and identifying opportunities for additional services.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.</li>
<li>Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's technical expertise in real estate taxation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other practice areas and departments to deliver integrated client solutions.</li>
<li>Actively participate in business development activities, including identifying new client opportunities and expanding existing relationships.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to promote the real estate tax practice.</li>
<li>Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to identify potential opportunities for the firm.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.</li>
<li>Mitigate potential risks associated with tax engagements through effective risk management strategies.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>CPA preferred.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>12+ years of experience in real estate tax, including a proven track record of successful tax planning and compliance.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations affecting the real estate industry.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.</li>
<li>Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.</li>
<li>Business development experience, including a successful track record of client acquisition and retention.</li>
<li>High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
</ul>
Compensation:
<ul>
<li>Competitive annual salary in the range of $220,000 to $500,000+based on individual's experience level. </li>
