About the Position:
The High School Division at Grace Church School seeks part-time math and/or science consultants for the school’s Math &amp; Science Center.&nbsp; Most tutoring will take place on campus, with Zoom as an additional option.&nbsp;
The ideal Math &amp; Science Center consultant is reliable, an exceptional listener, clear communicator, interested in working with high school students, and embody anti-racist ideals in practice. Consultants must attend orientation meetings and participate in an in-house certification process with Math &amp; Science Coordinators.

<li>Teachers with a bachelor's degree and between 0 – 10 years of experience can expect to receive an annualized base salary of $62,710 - $84,000 for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers with a master's degree and between 0 – 10 years of experience can expect to receive an annualized base salary of $67,486 - $93,636 for the 2025-2026 school year. </li>

LOCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Explore Schools is a network of 6 charter schools located in Canarsie, Crown Heights, and Flatbush communities of Brooklyn, NY. Our schools are currently operating fully in-person. For this position:

Hours: 8-20 hours per week / Non Exempt 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2pm to 6pm
SALARY: $16.15 - $23.15 
JOB SUMMARY: The Tutor develops connections with students and meets with them individually as well as in groups for academic learning support in specified subjects.
MAJOR DUTIES:

<li>Build and maintain meaningful relationships with teachers and students. </li>

<li>Liaise and meet with school faculty regarding classroom work and assignments, as well as individual student needs. </li>

<li>Observe individual student’s learning styles and plan lessons accordingly.</li>
