Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support the mental health and educational development of K-12 students is available in Lowville, NY. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to work in a dynamic educational environment dedicated to student success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, evaluations, and providing interventions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Serving a K-12 school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students.
  • Provide counseling and support services to help students overcome academic and social-emotional challenges.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on behavioral strategies and accommodations.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to special education planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
