Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential support for students in grades K-12 within a New York school district. This position, starting September 2, 2025, and concluding June 25, 2026, offers a contract role focusing on a diverse caseload including students with mild to severe disabilities, autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and delivering therapy both onsite and potentially through teletherapy modalities. Candidates will support students across a variety of communication challenges and must be adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse student population.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Current SLP - CCC certification
  • Valid New York State SLP license
  • Active Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
  • Experience in pediatrics and school-based settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices
  • Ability to work with students with a broad spectrum of disabilities
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care
