Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient OB/GYN and multispecialty setting. This role supports providers by delivering patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring adherence to infection control and quality standards.
Shift & Schedule

Schedule: Day Shift

Hours: 5 × 8-hour shifts

Typical Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Days: Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed providers
-
Support OB/GYN and multispecialty clinical services, including primary care and specialty clinics
-
Assist with patient intake, vital signs, documentation, and room preparation
-
Maintain infection control standards and support performance improvement initiatives
-
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
-
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Support patient education and follow-up instructions
-
Coordinate care activities and assist with clinical workflow

Uphold professional nursing standards and departmental policies
Required Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program

Active New York State LPN licensure and registration
Required Knowledge & Skills
-
Knowledge of infection control principles

Understanding of performance improvement practices

Ability to follow clinical protocols and appropriately delegate tasks

Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Patient-focused approach with attention to quality and safety
Preferred Experience

Outpatient clinic or multispecialty practice experience

Experience supporting OB/GYN services
