A well-established Home Improvement Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential construction and renovation projects across Long Island. With 40+ active jobs and a reputation for quality craftsmanship, we need someone who can take charge of builds and renovations from the ground up—no handholding, just results.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage residential construction projects, renovations, and room additions from start to finish
• Read and execute architectural plans with minimal oversight
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, masons, etc.)
• Handle town permitting, inspections, and ensure code compliance
• Lead field operations—traveling between job sites daily across Nassau and Suffolk (Most jobs are between Northport and New Hyde Park)
• Ensure timely delivery of materials; use company Amex for purchasing supplies
• Handle contracts, pick up client payments, and upsell project enhancements (earn commission on upgrades!)
• Keep projects moving efficiently, solve problems quickly, and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Communicate heavily via phone, group texts, and job site visits—this is not a desk job

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in residential construction or home improvement
• Strong working knowledge of construction processes - framing, finishes, permits, subs, inspections
• Independent and highly organized - you know how to run a site and don’t need a manual
• Energetic, hands-on, and solutions-focused - you thrive in the field
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, non-corporate, informal environment
• Familiarity with Long Island towns and building codes is a big plus
