We are looking for an additional 12-v tech/car tech. This is a busy, growing location. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and their own basic tools. The ideal person would have 3+ years of experience, including alarm/remote starts. MECP Certification is preferred. We offer a competitive salary as well as bonuses and commissions.

Qualifications:

• 5 years to 10 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas

• Strong knowledge of 12 volt electrical system

• Problem solving skills

• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high quality performance

• A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes

• Two year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field

• Proof of Vaccination

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your knowledge and experience in determining the best layout for wiring systems on OEM installed custom bodies

• Maintaining the utmost quality in all work performed is essential as the vehicles manufactured are critical to the emergency services sector

• Install both customer supplied and new two way radio and intercom systems

• Occasionally install various 110 or 220 volt AC generators, circuit breakers and boxes and various AC components

• Advise operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment/components

• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical warranty issues

• Being timely and carrying oneself in a presentable manner

• Make sure work area is cleaned and in an orderly fashion

• Respect fellow employees, clients and workmanship
