Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and respect to all patients. The role involves stocking rooms, cleaning instruments, autoclaving, and setting up rooms for procedures. You will also be responsible for patient intake, which includes collecting medical history, recording symptoms, greeting patients, and escorting them to examination rooms.
Responsibilities
- Stock and prepare examination rooms for procedures.
- Clean and sterilize instruments using autoclave.
- Conduct patient intake by collecting medical history and recording symptoms.
- Escort patients to examination rooms.
- Perform phlebotomy and clinical assistant duties.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide primary care support and patient care.
- Utilize EMR systems, including Eclinical Works.
Essential Skills
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical medical assistant experience.
- Professional communication skills.
- Customer service ability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Experience with EMR systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poughkeepsie, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
