Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement individualized therapy programs aimed at improving students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and legal regulations.
- Travel between assigned schools to deliver occupational therapy services efficiently.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for practice in New York.
- Experience working in school-based settings, familiar with educational requirements and age-specific developmental stages.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage travel between various locations with flexibility and professionalism.
