Established (25+ years) Premier Firm Seeking Experienced Associate Attorney in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY
An established full-service firm with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with strong litigation and/or transactional experience to join their team in Syracuse, Rochester or Binghamton, NY. The firm represents private and public sector employers exclusively and offers attorneys the opportunity to handle a diverse range of matters in labor and employment law, education law, and other civil practice areas. Litigation experience in these areas is helpful but not required, and the firm is open to both junior and senior-level attorneys with experience.
Offer:
Salary range: $110,000-$160,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
Experience as a practicing attorney in civil defense, labor and employment, education law, or other related areas
Strong transactional or litigation skills
Admission to practice law in New York State
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work on-site in Syracuse, NY, and travel to meet clients as needed
Responsibilities:
Represent private and public sector employers in labor and employment matters, education law, and other civil matters
Provide counsel on employment and labor issues, compliance, contracts, and risk management
Handle client meetings, hearings, and litigation as assigned
Draft contracts, policies, legal memoranda, and pleadings
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to deliver high-quality client service
